Velocity and styling will be showcased at the 2022 Cadillac Tumble Competition & Concours d’Elegance, to be held at the Gilmore Motor vehicle Museum campus in Hickory Corners, Mich., from Sept. 22-24. The function rewards the Cadillac LaSalle Club Museum and Exploration Heart positioned on the campus.
The Cadillac Slide Festival will include things like a tribute to influential designer David R. Holls with a screen of various autos he intended. There will also be symposiums with noteworthy GM designers on Friday and Saturday presented by John Manoogian, Dick Ruzzin and Brian Baker, who labored with Holls at GM Design. Only 80 tickets for the symposium are offered each day, so register early to get a seat.
In addition, a number of historic and recent Cadillac race cars will be displayed, including the hardly ever noticed 1950 Cadillacs that raced at that year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans. The race automobile exhibit will also include things like a particular race auto layout show by the Cadillac Style Studio.
The Cadillac Drop Festival will also incorporate rides in vintage Cadillacs, docent-led excursions of the Gilmore Car Museum buildings, a peer-judged motor vehicle demonstrate on Friday followed by a gala reception, the concours on Saturday and a supper with designers from the Cadillac Studio on Saturday night.
The deadline to participate in the concours with a present car is July 31. For extra information, which include a entire checklist of functions, go to https://www.cadillacfallfestival.com, or contact 443-994-5455.
